It is a rare form of fossilized dinosaur bone where the original fossilized bone has been replaced with agate, jasper or opal. The Colorado Plateau is the only place in the world this can be found. Non gem quality bone can be found all over the world. Agatized dinosaur bone is estimated to be 146 to 156 million years old. It is used for jewelry and is rare and beautiful. Height 1 5/8″.
