Graveyard Point Plume Agate Slab

Graveyard Point Plume Agate Slab. Graveyard point is mined in the Owyhee Mountains located on the Oregon Idaho border. This was a large nodule that was cut into slabs on my 20″ lapidary saw. The are various claims and different coloring. This one is black and white and tan with plume like formations. Graveyard point agate is known for its transparency.  There are some minor flaws in this slab, but still a nice specimen. The dimensions are 4 1/2″wide 3 1/2″ high 1/4″ thick. The weight is 6.3 oz.  (B) Photo was taken in natural sunlight.
