Kona Dolomite Pendant. Wire wrapped in 925 sterling silver. The stone was cut shaped and polished in our workshop. The colors are pink, brown and white. The swirling pattern resembles distant hills. Kona Dolomite is named after the Kona Hills south of Marquette in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. It is only found in the Marquette County quarry and is said to be over a billion years old. The pink and red coloring is due to the iron found in the rock. Kona Dolomite is a unique and pretty stone when polished. Height 1 5/8″. (S7)
