Leland Blue wire wrapped Pendant

Leland Blue Pendant wire wrapped in 925 Sterling Silver. We comb the beaches to find our own Michigan stones. This one was cut , shaped and polished in our Lapidary workshop. The color is dark teal blue.  This pendant has a high glossy finish and is of superior quality.  Leland Blue comes from a little town called Leland on the northern shores of Lake  Michigan. Leland Blue is  a by product of the iron smelting process in the1800’s. The material was dumped into Lake Michigan. When it cooled it produced a glass like substance that is now highly sought after for making jewelry .  Height  1 5/8″  Width 1 1/8″   (A7)
