A nice Montana Moss Agate. Cut and highly polished in my workshop. The colors are midnight blue and tan. Montana Moss Agate is found in the gravels of the Yellowstone River and its tributaries between Sidney and Billings, Montana. Minerals embedded in the agate give it a moss like pattern. There is one fracture, typical of agate. Still a fine display specimen. . Width 2 3/4″. Weight 3.8oz.
