Montana Moss Agate Pendant with a Sterling Silver bail. Cut, shaped and polished in our workshop. The colors are a transparent cream and a black moss formation. The moss pattern is formed by minerals inside the stone. The impurities in the minerals give the stone its moss pattern and color. Montana Moss Agate is only found along the Yellowstone River in Montana and its tributaries. The Native Americans used the this agate for arrowheads, spearpoints and tools for everyday use. This is a beautiful one of a kind stone. Length 2 1/4″. Width 1″.
