Montana Moss Agate freeform Pendant with a Sterling Silver bail. Cut, shaped and polished in our workshop. Honey color and light gray with black inclusions that suggest a moss pattern. Translucent. The moss pattern is formed by minerals that are inside the stone. The impurities in the minerals give the formations its color. Montana moss agate is found only in the Yellowstone river and its tributaries between Sidney and Billings Montana. The Native Americans used the agate for arrowheads, spear points and tools. A very hard and beautiful stone. Height 1 1/2″ Width 3/4″ (X3)
