Petoskey Stone Pendant with a Sterling Silver bail. We find all of our Petoskey stones and they are shaped and polished in our workshop. The colors are light brown with the typical six sided honeycomb pattern with the dark eye in the middle. 70,000 years ago a glacier moved through Michigan and brought the ancient coral with them. They were buried in mud and fossilized. Petoskey stones are washed ashore and can be found on many of the beaches in Northern Michigan. These unique stones make very pretty pendants. The Petoskey Stone is the State Stone of Michigan. (chain coral stone in background not included). Height 1 3/4″. Width 1 1/8″. (H8)
