Petoskey Stone Pendant with a Sterling Silver bail. We collect our stones on the Lakeshores of Northern Michigan.  All stones  are shaped and polished in our workshop. The colors are light brown with the hexagon sunburst shaped pattern. Each sunburst pattern is filled with a dark eye. The Petoskey stone was named for Native American Indian Chief Pet-O-Sega. It means rising sun or sunbeams of promise. The Petoskey Stone was designated the Michigan State stone in 1965. This is a unique and high quality pendant.   Measures  2″ x  1″.  (J8)
