Polished Petrified Wood For Display

Polished petrified wood specimen for display. This was cut and polished in my workshop. The colors are brown and golden brown. The process of petrified wood occurred over millions of years and is usually  the result of giant floods. The wood becomes buried in the muck where it would no longer be able to get any oxygen. Due to this process the minerals in the ground then replace the wood and it became fossilized. A nice finish and shows lots of wood grain. Width. 2″. Length. 4 3/8″. Weight. 10.9 oz.
