Polished Petrified Wood for Display

Polished Petrified wood specimen for display. This is a limb piece that was cut and polished in my workshop. The colors are  chocolate brown and tan. As a result of large flooding trees and limbs would be buried deep in the muck and would be deprived of oxygen. The lack of oxygen prevented the wood from decaying and over millions of years the minerals in the ground would replace the wood and it would petrify or fossilize. This is a heavy solid piece that shows some wood grain.  A nice mirror finish. Width 2 1/2″. Height 2 3/8″.  Length 3 1/2″ Weight 11.5 oz.
