Picture Jasper Slab. Picture Jasper can be found all over the world. The piece shown here is from the Owyhee Mountain range on the Idaho and Oregon boarder. This came from a large chunk that was cut in to slabs in my lapidary workshop. Picture Jasper is said to have a great connection to the earth. The colors are lavender, tan, white, and copper. This would be a very nice piece for some awesome cabochons or a polished display specimen. The width is 4″. The height is 4 1/2″. The thickness is 3/16.” The weight is 6.1 oz.
