Picture Jasper Slab From Oregon

Picture Jasper Slab from Oregon. This was slabbed from a 12 lb. chunk in my lapidary workshop. I believe the jasper came from the Owyhee Mountain area. Jasper is formed from the impurities in the water being absorbed into the stone while it is still in a gas bubble stage. The coloring is sky blue, tan, and white. This is a very solid specimen. I have made some nice cabochons made from this material. 6.3 oz. 5″ x 4″ x 3/ 1/4″
