Puddingstone Pendant

Puddingstone Pendant with a glue on bail.  We enjoy combing the beaches of the Great Lakes and find all of our own Michigan stones.  They are cut, shaped and polished in our workshop. Pudding Stones came down from Northern Ontario with the glacial ice sheets. They were spread across the state of Michigan and can be found almost anywhere. Puddingstone got its name from British settlers on Drummond Island. They said it looked like a pudding that was popular in England. This pretty little stone has a grayish tan matrix with Red striated Jasper.  Height 1 1 /2″  Width 3/4″   (E6)
