Pudding Stone Slab from Michigan


A loaded Puddingstone Slab slab from Michigan. Cut from a large rock in my lapidary workshop. The slab consists of Red Jasper black chert and tan and white quartz. Puddingstone was brought down to Michigan from Northern Ontario with the continental ice sheets. It can be found just about any place in the state. Pudding Stone is often used for various crafts and it makes beautiful Pendants.  Width 6 1/4″. Height 4″. Thickness 1/4″.  Weight 6.4 oz.  (C)
