Rocky Butte Picture Jasper Polished Slab. This came from a 10 lb. nodule and was cut on my 20″ lapidary saw in to 1/4″ slabs. Rocky Butte comes from the Owyhee Mountain range in Oregon. Rocky Butte is one of the most unique and colorful of the Picture Jaspers. The coloring is coral red, pink, a little gray and white. This nice piece would make some great cabochons or for display. The width is 5 1/2″ Height is 3 1/2″. The thickness is 1/4″. The weight is 6.6 oz.
