Sowbelly Agate Slab from Colorado. Also known as Amethyst Lace. This was a 12 lb. nodule that was cut in to slabs in my lapidary workshop. Agate is the result of volcanic activity that took place millions of years ago. The color of this slab is lavender and white. This piece could be for display or some nice cabochons. The width is 6″ Height 3 1/2″. Thickness 1/4″. Weight 8.3 oz. (B)
