A great Sunset Jasper Slab. This slab was cut from a large nodule in my lapidary workshop. Sunset jasper is found widely throughout Australia. The impurities in the ground, in this case iron oxide are what gives Sunset Jasper its color. A kind of glowing golden hue and caramel brown color banding runs the length of the slab. This is a beautiful specimen to add to your collection or make gorgeous rich colored pendants. The width is 6 1/2″ The height is 3 1/4″. The thickness is 1/4″.
