Polished Pair of Opal Thundereggs From Oregon

A pair of polished Opal Bed Thundereggs from  Central Oregon. They were cut and polished in my lapidary workshop. Thunder Eggs are found in the volcanic ash of ancient volcanos. It is believed Thunder Eggs formed before the Cascade Mountain range developed. They are smaller. but a solid pair with streaks of red, orange and some denim blue opal throughout. This is very unusual and rare for Oregon Opal Thundereggs. The total weight of the pair is 3 oz.  (A16)
