Polished Opal Thundereggs From Oregon

A nice pair of polished Opal Thundereggs from Central Oregon. They were dug out of the volcanic ash beds that formed millions of years ago. They were carefully cut and polished in my lapidary workshop. These are examples of the most common Oregon opal Thundereggs. The color is known as denim blue. Thunder Eggs are the state stone of Oregon.  These would be great to add to a collection. The total weight of the pair is 3.6 oz.  (A38)
