Polished Pair of Opal Thundereggs From Oregon

A  pair of polished Opal Bed Thundereggs from  Central Oregon. These came out of ancient volcanic ash of the Cascade Mountain range. The volcanic activity is what makes Oregon a hot spot for opal. They  were cut and then  polished in my workshop. These are the most typical of  Opal Bed Thunder Eggs. The color is known as denim blue.  They are very nice opal specimens. The total weight of the pair is 3.3 oz.  (A39)
