Willow Creek Jasper Slab From Idaho

Willow Creek Jasper Slab from Idaho. Willow Creek Jasper is mined in the Eagle region in Northern Idaho. This slab came from a large nodule and cut into 1/4″ slabs in my lapidary workshop. Willow Creek Jasper actually is formed as centers of giant Thunder Eggs. They have been mined for over 40 years. The colors range from caramel, tan, gray, and white. This is a very solid specimen and would make nice cabochons or a great display piece.  The width is 5 3/4″ the height is 4 3/4″ at he widest points. The thickness is 1/4″. The weight is 8.2 oz.  (A)
